From the B&B cycle in Bregenzerwald on asphalt roads via the town of Stocker, up past the farmhouses through the peacefully located settlement of Fallenbach. The route climbs slightly up to Fohren, continuing to Schetteregg. Proceed on forest roads to Egg town centre via Ebenwald to the town of Unterbach. Take the bike path here, passing Egg swimming pool until you get to the health centre, head up the slope to Großdorf and back to the B&B.
Out on the Mittelwald circuit during a cycling holiday in Bregenzerwald

From the B&B via Großdorf to Egg and on the cycle path to the town of Andelsbuch. Here a narrow road leads down to the Bregenzer Ache to Schwarzenberg. After a short section to Bödelestraße, on less-used roads you go through forest and pastures to reach Lorenapass. Cross Berchtoldshöhe to get to Kaltenbrunnen, Müselbach and on the Ach cycle path back to Egg. Here in the town of Mühle at the health centre, the slope heads back down to the B&B.
Cycle around the Winterstaude
- Duration: approx. 6 hours
- Highlight: Wild, romantic Subersach gorge
The circuit starts from the B&B with a descent to Großdorf, via the town of Außerdorf to Egg and from there along the cycle path again to Bezau. Via Rimsgrund to Langenalpe, you will come to Schönenbach. Continue to Iferwiesalpe, passing the junction to Schneckenlochhöhle and to the Iferalpe. Cross Subersach gorge and ride to Helbockstobelalpe, continuing to Geserstobelalpe and after a section where you will need to push the bike (approx. 10 minutes), you will reach Schreiberesattel, continue on to Bezau, Andelsbuch-Bersbuch and then back to Egg-Großdorf.
